WALANG PASOK – Several local government units have announced class suspensions in several areas due to the effects of Severe Tropical Storm Florita.

Severe Tropical Storm Florita causes devastation in various regions in the country. It has been last spotted on 335 km west of Calayan, Cagayan at 4 am on Wednesday (August 24, 2022).

Florita has maximum sustained winds of 95 kph near the center and gustiness of 115 kph, while moving west northwestward at 30 kph. Tropical cyclone wind signal no. 1 was still up in some provinces.
