ITS SHOWTIME – Kapamilya noontime show Its Showtime officially airs back-to-back with TV5’s LOL on the TV5 channel and here are some reactions.
Excited and thrilled are the madlang people when the hosts of the Kapamilya show Its Showtime announced another milestone. Officially on July 16, the noontime show will be airing on TV5 and they will be airing back to back with Lunch Out Loud, the noontime show of the Kapatid network.
As much as many are aware, Kapatid host Billy Crawford and director Bobet Vidanes were formerly a part of the Kapamilya show. Currently, both are in LOL and while many thought it seems awkward, the hosts and other seemed to not mind any of this issue.
And this Saturday, trending on Twitter is the hashtag #ShowtimeLiveSa 5. It was a “mas pinalakas at mas pinasayang tanghalian” as Showtime also aired with a live audience for the first time in two years.
The Showtime hosts showed their talents in the grand opening and the hosts were complete: Vice Ganda, Anne Curtis, Vhong Navarro, Jhong Hilario, Amy Perez, Ogie Alcasid, Kim Chiu, Karylle, Jugs Jugueta, Ryan Bang, Ion Perez, Teddy Corpuz, and Ate Girl Jackie.
The moment also served as a reunion for the original members of the show as they performed with the Showtime dancers and XB GenSan.
“Maraming salamat, TV5, dahil hindi kayo nag-atubiling pagbuksan kami ng inyong pintuan para mas maging pangmalakasan na pagpapalaganap ng good vibes sa lahat ng madlang pipol,” Navarro said.
History was made and it was made possible through the collaboration of ABS-CBN Entertainment, Brightlight Productions, Zoe Broadcasting Network, and TV5.
