Lunch Out Loud and It’s Showtime are ready to give back-to-back “saya” during noontime starting on July 16.
Previously, a news report from TV5 announced that the two noontime shows of Kapamilya and Kapatid networks are set to do a collaboration. This brought excitement to the fans of the two shows.
On July 11, the official Twitter account of ABS-CBN PR released a statement on this “sanib-pwersa” between the two shows. This coming Saturday, noontime show viewers can expect back-to-back entertainment.
Lunch Out Loud will start to air from 11 am until 12:45 pm, then, It’s Showtime will start and will continue the fun until 3 pm. The statement also stated the segments that LOL will continue to have like the dating game of former lovers H.O.P.E., the showbiz quiz segment titled Maritest, and the Beat The 2 in which the hosts will compete in answering questions.
Then, for the timeslot of It’s Showtime, the same segments are expected to be featured also like the Tawag ng Tanghalan and many more.
“Dahil sa kolaborasyon ng ABS-CBN Entertainment, Brightlight Productions, Zoe Broadcasting Network, at TV5, mas maraming Pilipino pa sa bansa ang maaabot ng mga dekalidad na programa na magpapangiti sa mga manonood tuwing tanghali,” the statement said.
Meanwhile, Eat Bulaga host Paolo Ballesteros was asked in a recent interview about this “sanib-pwersa” of their rival shows. He initially answered that he had no idea about this collaboration. However, he admitted that he is not watching Lunch Out Loud and It’s Showtime and so, he has no idea about the segments of their rival shows.
Eat Bulaga has been airing for more than 4 decades now with the pioneer hosts of the show Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto, and Joey de Leon.
