The 2022 Senator Elections was topped by Sen. Robin Padilla with over 26.6 million votes. He was not the frontrunner of the senatorial race in the surveys conducted prior to the election but he was consistent in being on top when the counting of votes began.

Undeniably, Padilla made rounds online. Some netizens were happy that he got included in the 12 winning senatoriables and is topping the race but there are also those who criticized his visible win. Prior to entering the government, he made a name in the showbiz industry and is tagged as the “Bad Boy of the Philippine Showbiz”.

Despite the criticisms, Padilla did not mind the negative statements against his victory. He showed determination in pushing for federalism in the country.
