Rabiya Mateo and Jeric Gonzales had an on-and-off relationship?
Is it true that Miss Universe Philippines 2020 Rabiya Mateo has “banta” to Kapuso actor Jeric Gonzales?
These past few days, showbiz news sites have been talking about the relationship between Rabiya and Jeric, especially after the intimate photos of the actor with a guy circulated on social media.
With his, speculations surfaced that Jeric is gay and that he is cheating on Rabiya. However, during the height of this rumor against the actor, the beauty queen-turned-actress shared her date night photo with Jeric which appeared to be her answer to the controversy.
On the other hand, breakup rumors involving Rabiya Mateo and Jeric Gonzales surfaced just recently. Is it because netizens have noticed that they unfollowed each other on Instagram. The photos of Rabiya with Jeric were also deleted from her Instagram account.
However, on Jeric’s IG account, photos of him with Rabiya are still there. As of this writing, the Kapuso stars haven’t released a statement yet regarding their rumored breakup.
The issue between Rabiya and Jeric was one of the topics on Cristy Fermin’s Showbiz Now Na YouTube show with Romel Chika and Morly Alinio. The veteran showbiz reporter asked her co-hosts about the rumor that Rabiya was threatening Jeric.
“Ano ang masasabi ninyo kay Jeric kasi tuwing may makakarating kay Rabiya tungkol kay Jeric Gonzales, nagbabanta siyang umalis, makikipag-break! At ang balita nga iniwan na si Jeric, tapos makalawa sila na naman,” Cristy asked.
Romel said that this story has been repeated over and over again. “Bakit parang nilalaro yata tayo hindi sila?” he added. With this, Cristy shared her guess regarding the rumored breakup. She said that the controversial intimate photos of Jeric Gonzales were the triggering point for Rabiya Mateo to break up with him.
