Online Seller Expresses Frustration as Floodwaters Enter Home
An online seller was caught off guard after floodwaters suddenly entered her home while she was in the middle of a live selling session.
Recently, X/Twitter @carliyeigh, shared a video of her promoting sofa beds when she noticed the floodwater quickly making its way inside the house. The post garnered various reactions from the online community.
The online seller was busy promoting sofa beds when the floor water entered inside the house. The normal livestream soon turned into a stressful emergency as the floodwater continued to rise.
Realizing the danger, she immediately called for help from another person inside the house. The two rushed to unplug electrical appliances and other devices to prevent possible accidents. They had panic as the water kept rising.
Eventually, her companion could be heard crying while using a cellphone to contact someone for assistance.
The content creator had rented the house to create a better space for live selling and online content. A large amount of money had reportedly been spent on renovations, deposits, and advance payments before moving into the property on August 7, 2026.
However, just three days later, the house was flooded. After cleaning up and trying to recover from the first incident, another flood reportedly struck on August 24. The following day, the seller decided to move out.
Many online users expressed sympathy after learning about the financial losses and emotional stress caused by the repeated flooding.
