Vice Ganda Recalls Ion's Epic Answer When Asked "Tayo Na?"

Superstar comedian Vice Ganda narrates his love story with Ion Perez.

VICE GANDA – This is the love story of Vice Ganda and Ion Perez and his realization by having him as his partner for life.

During Showtime’s 10th anniversary, Kapamilya superstar Vice Ganda revealed and introduced Ion Perez as his life partner. Recalling that particular, it wasn’t actually planned or anything. According to the superstar, the revelation just slid down his tongue and it shocked both the viewers and the Showtime people.

With the bashing and everything considering the kind of relationship they have, they have initially kept it a secret. Vice personally wanted it to be really private but it was Ion who actually wanted them out and proud as a couple. This situation made him realize that he was once placed in that kind of situation – kept and hidden – and he knows the feeling too well.

And making Ion experience that did not suit him well. He deserves to be flexed and so he did. He “outed” him and he’s the happiest. They are both the happiest. It was the most liberating feeling for them. In an interview with KaladKaren, he even recalled one moment, back when they were not yet a couple.

Before they became official, he asked him “tayo na?” and his epic response was “Kayo po”.

In the same interview, Vice opened up about having a baby. There was a time he has considered this but now, he lost it. What he is focused on now is the present. He is enjoying his, his success, his family, and his time with his partner Ion.
