Comedienne Rufa Mae Quinto revealed that Senator-elect Robin Padilla has this attitude towards other people.

The success of Robin in the recently-concluded 2022 election bought happiness to many of his fellow showbiz personalities. It is because they have seen the concern of the actor-turned-politician for his fellow Filipinos.

One of the showbiz personalities who felt happy and proud of Robin Padilla’s political stint is Rufa Mae Quinto, based on the article in Bandera. In a recent interview, the comedienne shared she and Robin worked together before as they were both under the management of Viva.

“Sobrang proud kaya ako sa kanya. At saka, deserve niya ’yon. Si Robin, dati ko pang kasama sa mga pelikula, sa VIVA kami, ’di ba?” she shared. Rufa Mae also said that the action star is really generous when it comes to helping other people.

She added that Robin does not mind giving all he has for the nation. “Like noon, nagsu-shoot kami, biglang may magkakasakit. Ang gagawin niya, lahat ng pera niya, ibibigay niya. Matetengga kami ngayon dahil dadalhin pa sa hospital, hindi lang bibigyan,” the comedienne revealed.

Then, Rufa Mae Quinto said that this is the reason why Robin deserves to be a Senator and she quipped, “Kaya ako rin magse-senador na!”

Meanwhile, in a recent interview, Robin said that he is ready to do his duties in the Senate. He also quipped that his debates with his wife celebrity vlogger Mariel Padilla made him prepared for the upcoming Senate sessions and hearings. The actor-turned-politician also said that his English conversations with his kids have prepared him for the English communication scenarios that he will have in the future.
