Daniel Padilla talked about future plans with Kathryn Bernardo
Kapamilya actor Daniel Padilla said that he is ready to settle down with his reel and real-life sweetheart Kathryn Bernardo.
Kathryn and Daniel, known as the KathNiel tandem, have been together as love team partners for 10 years now. Throughout the years the celebrity couple has done remarkable projects that define their careers in showbiz.
Aside from growing together as an actor and an actress, they have seen each other’s growth also as individuals. As they are now in their late 20s, the couple is set to go to the next chapter of their lives.
In a reunion with prominent directors Olivia Lamasan, Cathy Garcia-Molina, and Mae Cruz-Alviar, Kathryn Bernardo said that they are already discussing the next chapter of their relationship. “Looking forward na rin ako doon,” Daniel Padilla added.
The actor also said that even during the time when they were 16 and 17 years old, they already talked about marriage. At first, they planned to get married when they reach 26 or 27 but this has changed.
Direk Mae asked the couple if their plans on settling down changed over the years, Kathryn said, “Nag-mo-move. Dapat 26. Ang bilis pala.” Then, Daniel said, “Dapat 28, pero hindi pa pala ‘yun. Basta 30, usapan natin. Hindi na ma-mo-move ‘yun.”
The actress stressed that they are both not ready to tie the knot yet. She said to Daniel that he can’t say that because in marriage both of them should be ready. “Alam mong hindi pa tayo ready ngayon. Kailangan pa natin aralin ang buhay,” she said. Daniel Padilla answered, ”Baka ikaw ang hindi pa ready. Baka ikaw ang hindi pa ready.”
