PAGASA Says Easterlies to Affect PH Weather Condition
The state weather bureau PAGASA reported that the easterlies/localized thunderstorms will bring cloudy skies and isolated rains over some parts of the country.
On Saturday (May 7, 2022), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration released the latest weather update in the country. The easterlies/localized thunderstorms will affect the country’s weather condition.
PAGASA reported that the Easterlies will be affecting the country. The Easterlies/localized thunderstorms will bring partly cloudy to cloudy condition with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms over the entire Visayas, Palawan including Kalayaan Islands and Occidental Mindoro.
Bicol Region, Northern Samar, Oriental Mindoro, Marinduque and Romblon as well as Metro Manila and the rest of the country will experience similar weather condition because of the easterlies.
The weather agency has also advised the residents in the affected areas to take precautionary measures for possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.
Meanwhile, the coastal water condition over the entire country will be slight to moderate, according to the weather bureau.
