PAGASA Releases Latest Weather Update for Thursday (May 5)

The state weather bureau PAGASA reported that the easterlies will bring hot and humid weather condition over some parts of the country.

On Thursday (May 5, 2022), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration released the latest weather update in the country. The easterlies will affect the country’s weather condition.

PAGASA reported that the Frontal System will be affecting Extreme Northern Luzon while the Easterlies will be affecting the rest of the country.

The easterlies will bring cloudy weather condition with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms over Caraga and Davao Region. Possible flash floods or landslides are expected due to moderate to at times heavy rains

Batanes and Babuyan Islands will experience similar weather condition due to the frontal system.

The Easterlies/localized thunderstorms will bring partly cloudy to cloudy condition with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms over the entire Visayas, Palawan including Kalayaan Islands and Occidental Mindoro.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will experience similar weather condition. Possible flash floods or landslides are expected during severe thunderstorms.

Meanwhile, the coastal water condition over Northern Luzon will be moderate to rough. The rest of Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao will have slight to moderate surrounding sea conditions.

PAGASA reported that there is no weather disturbance threatening the country.
