Kaye Abad is looking forward to doing this role
Actress Kaye Abad admitted that she really misses acting and once she can do acting stints again, she wants to fulfill her dream role.
Kaye was among the 90s teen stars who were part of the hit Tabing Ilog series. Throughout her career, she has proven her versatility. However, she took a break from showbiz when she settled down.
Based on the article in NewsKo, Kaye said that she can’t say that she totally left the entertainment industry. For her, it was just a break to focus on her family.
“I never left, siguro nagpahinga lang because priority ko is mag-baby muna because I’m not getting any younger. So palakihin ko muna ‘yung mga bata then I will, for sure, go back,” Kaye Abad said.
The actress is currently living in Cebu, the hometown of her husband Paul Jake Castillo. This is the reason why she thinks that she could not do a teleserye yet. “I’m not sure if I can do like a teleserye, a full-time teleserye because that means I would have to stay in Manila for three to six months, so siguro like guesting [lang],” she shared.
Talking about her return to acting, the actress also shared what her dream role is. She shared that she wants to portray the character of a mute person. “That’s very challenging because kailangan mong ma-express ang gusto niyang sabihin without saying the lines — mata lang, facial expressions, ‘yun lang,” Kaye Abad shared.
In a previous interview, the actress shared that she does not have any regrets when it comes to her career. She even proudly shared that she started from a P800 talent fee.
Meanwhile, Kaye and Paul Jake welcomed their second baby in September last year. The couple named their son Iñigo Leon Castillo.
