Police Arrest 40-Year-Old Man After Harassing Stepdaughter in Caloocan
A 40-year-old man got arrested after harassing his stepdaughter in Bagumbong, Caloocan while her mom is in prison.
In Bagumbong, Caloocan, the police authorities arrested a man after he allegedly molested his 12-year-old stepdaughter. The young girl reported the incident to her grandmother.
According to the grandma, the lady teenager rides a tricycle and told her the entire incident while trembling in fear. The girl gets emotional and bursts into tears while sharing her traumatic experience.
“Ang sabi ko, ‘Ano bang ginawa sa ‘yo? Ginulpi ka ba?’ Hindi rin po siya nagsalita. Noong pinainom ko po siya ng tubig hanggang sa mahimasmasan, ganu’n nga daw po, minolestiya siya nu’ng stepfather niya,” the grandma said.
The cops recovered about 10 grams of illegal drugs worth P68, 000. According to the police, the suspect is among the most wanted personalities on their drug watch list. The girl’s mother has been jailed in February 2022 due to illegal drugs.
“While nakakulong dito ‘yung nanay niya, so naiwan sa bahay ‘yung kanyang anak at ‘yung stepfather,” Caloocan Police Substation 8 commander Police Major Jose Hizon said.
The suspect has also admitted his mistakes, which he committed while being under the influence of alcoholic beverage. “Lasing po ako noon. Sorry po. Tao lang po,” the suspect explained.
The victim’s grandma will file charges against the suspect for its disgusting act. Aside from statutory rape case, the suspect will also face charges for violation of Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, according to the police authorities.
