Why did Cristy Fermin resign from TIPMMG?
Veteran entertainment reporter Cristy Fermin revealed the reason why she resigned from Take It Per Minute Meganun, her talk show with Manay Lolit Solis and Mr. Fu.
The said digital talk show is being aired on the social media sites of Pilipino Star Ngayon every Tuesday. Cristy, Lolit, and Mr. Fu have been together in this show for three years now.
However, on March 8, Cristy will no longer be part of the talk show. In a recent episode of her Cristy Ferminute program with Romel Chika, the veteran showbiz reporter revealed why she decided to leave TIPMMG.
Cristy Fermin said that it was because of their line producer Salve Asis. The veteran writer shared that last Tuesday’s episode, March 1, a few minutes before they started airing, she and Lolit were talking happily.
Then, Salve suddenly approached them and said that it was going to be their last episode already. “May bad news ako sa inyo, last show na natin ngayon, binigyan na ako kagabi ng memo ng sales, ng finance department, binigyan na ako ng sales. Nalulugi na ang company,” Cristy shared what Salve said to them.
Salve also told them that if they want to continue the show, they have to find a producer. This did not sit well with the veteran showbiz reporter because out of the blue, just before their show started, they received this bad news.
Cristy said that she and Lolit were shocked by this and the former pointed out that it was bad timing as they were about to start the show. The showbiz reporter said that she can no longer work with someone who does not have respect towards her co-workers.
“Paano ko pa po gugustuhin na mapasama sa programa na ang aming sinasabing tagapamuno, siya ang line producer ay walang respeto sa kaniyang mga hosts,” Cristy Fermin said adding that Salve Asis apologized to her. Now, Lolit and Mr. Fu’s show is titled Take It! Take It! Me Ganon?!.
