KRIS AQUINO – Former television host Kris Aquino reveals the truth about alleged reconciliation with ex-boyfriend Mel Sarmiento.
Former secretary of the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Mel Senen Sarmiento are already nearing tying the knot but due to health reasons, they decided to break up. Kris revealed in a previous article that she was the one who initiated the split and Mel was gracious enough to accept it.
She shared on her social media page the last message she received from him where he accepted her offer through a text message. A part of his message for her says something like this:
“Given my nature, who loves to go out, I accept that I already have a bubble fatigue and will not be able to, sad to say, be able to continue living in a bubble. On that note, with a heavy heart, I accepted your offer of letting me go.“
And just recently, people started speculating that they have reconciled after she restored one post she has deleted and the photo has Mel in it. The post was actually about saying goodbye to her nurse but having Mel in the photo has started the allegation that they have rekindled romance.
Is it true that they are together again?
In the comment section of Lolit Solis’ post amid the speculations, she downplayed the rumors. She denied that they are together again and the reason why she restored the photo is that she is at peace now and no longer affected by what happened in the past.
Accordingly, it won’t happen because he left her at the lowest point of her life and through a text message. What happened to them left her wondering if it was really love or just grief, timing, and infatuation. And this confusion was clarified to her when they have Facetimed a few nights ago. That conversation showed her the devastating reasons why they can not happen again.
“Basing it on that final conversation it became clear to me what his true feelings for me had been and how little respect I had left for him,” she said. He also failed to ask for Bimby who was affected as well by their split. She also discovered the messages he snubbed from her sister.
She added, “And siguro yung final straw for me was the fact kinaya nyang mag imbento ng napakaraming kwento bilang “patunay” na close talaga sila ni Noy.”
