CLAUDINE BARRETTO – Optimum Star Claudine Barreto will also attempt to enter politics and she’s now ready for the campaign next year.
Among the cluster of celebrities who will be attempting to join the field of politics is Claudine Barretto. Many celebrities have actually succeed being public public servants and in a previous article, the Optimum Star she will be running for councilor in Olongapo.
Her will to serve and help the people fueled her to do it but despite all her political plans, she assured her supporters that her passion in acting will still remain. Meanwhile, celebrities such as Aiko Melendez, Arjo Atayde, Nash Aguas, and Jolo Revilla are aspiring to settle in a government post.
And with the 2022 national elections fast approaching, the Optimum actress shared that she’s feeling a mixed of emotions. She’s feeling excited, grateful, and hopeful over the new career path she’s going to take. She said, “I’m very excited and nervous, grateful and hopeful na itong bagong tatahakin ko na career, e, talagang maibigay ko yung serbisyo na kailangan ng mga tao, hindi lang sa Olongapo kung hindi kahit saan.”
She previously admitted that she’s not fully equipped yet with the knowledge about politics but she is determined to be of service. She also knew that this field is “mas magulo” compared to the show business industry she’s currently in. However, being a public servant is something she sees as a more effective channel to reach and help more people.
In the team she’s in, she’s designated to handle matters about healthcare, housing, livelihood, and wellness. She shared “Isa, dito ako, nasa social services, sa anything tungkol sa social services, hawak ko yun, under sa akin yun.”
