Claudine Barretto mentioned this about her showbiz career
Optimum Star Claudine Barretto talked about leaving Star Magic, the talent management company of ABS-CBN, and a new manager.
For several years, Claudine was under the management of the Kapamilya network. Throughout her career in show business, she has done several projects that defined her star status.
She was considered as one of the queens of primetime teleseryes of ABS-CBN. In September of 2019, Claudine was set to return to showbiz after several years of break.
The actress from a popular showbiz clan even had a Metro Style where she said, “I’m back with Star Magic and I’m so happy.” However, there was a delay in her showbiz comeback in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Based on the article from Abante Entertainment, Claudine Barretto was really set to be under Star Magic for her showbiz comeback. The Optimum Star is thankful for the opportunity that the ABS-CBN’s talent management company has given to her.
However, due to the shutting down of ABS-CBN, the initial plan of signing of contract between Claudine and the company was not pushed through as the actress changed her decision.
In 2021, Claudine Barretto is set to be handled by talent manager Arnold Vegafria. The actress and the manager are set to meet on December 21 to talk about this deal.
Meanwhile, the Optimum Star has also worked under Viva Artists Agency after she left Star Magic. However, speculations surfaced that the actress had a “tampo” against VAA.
Last October, Claudine’s lawyer Atty. Ferdinand Topacio was spotted with Arnold Vegafria.
