Nash Aguas is set to embark on a new journey
Young actor Nash Aguas is joining the political arena and he is set to run for councilor in Cavite City.
The 22-year-old celebrity has been in the entertainment industry since he was five years old. Through the noontime variety show MTB’s Batang F4 contest back in 2004, he was able to have a celebrity status at a young age.
From this, he became a talent of ABS-CBN and his popularity skyrocketed when he joined the kiddie gag show Goin’ Bulilit. When he graduated from that stint, Nash Aguas did teen-oriented shows and concentrated more on drama series.
Now, the young actor is ready to walk on a different path that could be leading to his future career in politics. Based on the article in Manila Bulletin, Nash Aguas was one of the personalities who took oath under the Lakas–Christian Muslim Democrats (Lakas–CMD) just recently. He will be running for Councilor in Cavite City under the lineup of Vice Mayor Denver Chua who will be replacing Cavite City Mayor Bernardo Paredes as it is already his last term.
Actor-politician Jolo Revilla was also present during the oathtaking and he will be running for the position of Cavite 1st district representative. He was accompanied by his parents, Senator Bong Revilla, Jr. and Bacoor Mayor Lani M. Revilla. Lakas-CMD party president and House Majority Leader Martin Romualdez officiated the ceremony.
