Is it true that Arjo Atayde will enter the world of politics?
Award-winning actor Arjo Atayde will allegedly run in the 2022 elections and this speculation surfaced because of this incident.
Being the son of veteran actress Sylvia Sanchez has opened doors of showbiz opportunities for Arjo. However, he was able to pave his way to stardom not just because of his mother’s name but through his hard work and talent.
The blood of an entertainer is definitely running in his veins but rumors surfaced that the actor is set to enter another field. Based on the article by entertainment columnist Reggee Bonoan in Bandera, there had been speculations around showbiz saying that Arjo is planning to enter politics.
However, there is no confirmation yet about this since the actor’s parents, Sylvia Sanchez and Art Atayde, are still silent regarding this matter, as of this writing.
Bonoan said that a friend shared that a video is circulating showing that Arjo Atayde is giving “ayuda” in an unnamed barangay or district. In the said video, the actor was seen giving away face masks and face shields, Reportedly, he also conducted a feeding program and visited every home.
The columnist also said that a netizen sent them a photo showing one of the recipients of the “ayuda” from the actor. It showed that the eco-bag where the goods were placed had the name of Arjo Atayde. Because of this, Bonoan said that they sent a message to Sylvia to ask about this but the veteran actress has not replied until the article was published.
With this, speculations surfaced that Arjo is planning to run in the 2022 elections and this is sort of a preparation for his alleged candidacy.
