A kind-hearted doctor earns praises online after offering free consultation to the public amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
A Facebook user named Mikko Gamalo announced that he is offering a free consultation to the less-fortunate people. The post circulates online and garnered praises and admiration from the online community.
Gamalo said that he wanted to help the people who can’t even afford a checkup from a doctor. Mikko is a general physician who can provide medical advice and prescriptions to patients experiencing common illnesses.
However, he clarified that he is a general physician and he has no specialization. He admitted his limited knowledge when it comes to disease unlike specialists who were experts on their field.
Patients can contact him from 10:00 am until 5: 00 pm every Monday, Wednesday and Friday for online consultations. Individuals can contact him at GLOBE – 09455224856 and SMART – 09682410908.
The doctor also told the public that these numbers will be unavailable after the consultation hours. However, patients can message him via Facebook and send the photos of their concerns such as rashes, pigsa and other diseases.
The medical personnel prefer to provide the free checkup with General Santos City but he will try to provide consultation outside the town. The consultation is free of charge because it was his childhood dream to help those who were in need.
