POBLACION GIRL – Carlos Laurel, an aspiring politician, finally speaks about his close interaction with Gwyneth Chua a.k.a Poblacion Girl.
Previously, a girl named Gwyneth Chua has been trending online after many netizens online condemned her for going straight to a party after returning to the country. She came from the States and accordingly, she skipped the quarantine requirement and paid the facility to vouch for her without knowing that she has the omicron variant with her.
Technically, she put the other guests in that party at risk of being infected and some, after having tests, have already tested positive for COVID-19. And one of the guests who had close contact with her and the first one to speak is Carlos Laurel, son of former It Girl and top model Crispy Santamaria-Laurel and businessman Arsenic Laurel. Actress and singer Denise Laurel is his cousin.
It was seen in a viral group picture that he is with the alleged woman who broke the quarantine rules. He underwent a test and gained a negative result to his great relief. He posted the negative result and issued an official statement amid the raging issue involving Poblacion Girl and the party she attended where he is present.
According to his statement, he immediately isolated himself after knowing that he got exposed to someone who is infected. He is thankful for those who showed support and love for him amid the challenging time he had faced. He added as per PEP’s report, “Aking laging ipinapa-alala ang kahalagahan at ang pagsunod ko sa minimum public health standards at agarang pagbabakuna na siyang nagbigay ng dagdag na proteksyon sa akin.”
Meanwhile, the woman who people believed is the main reason behind such commotion has not yet released any statements to apologize or clarify something. The party actually happened last December 23, 2021.
