4 Siblings Abandoned at Church Rescued by Police Authorities in Cotabato
The police authorities have rescued the four siblings abandoned in front of San Isidro Parish Church in Cotabato.
The Libungan Municipal Police reported that four young children have been abandoned at San Isidro Parish Church in the town of Libungan, Cotabato. The kids have been left last December 24, 2021.
Eight-year-old girl, six year-old-boy, two-year-old girl and three-month-old infant have been left in front of the church. The cops saw the infant crying so loud and pale. The police officers found the kids five hours after they were abandoned by the mom.
According to the authorities, the mother together with its children run away from home after having a feud with her live-in partner. The woman left her kids to ask financial help so they could go to Davao del Norte.
The lady returned to the church around 8:00 pm but her kids have already gone after rescued by the police authorities. The cops feed the kids and changed the poor infant’s diaper, according to the Libungan Police.
The kids and their mom remained under the custody of the Libungan Police for two days before they returned to their home. The children received used clothes, rice, grocery items and cash assistance.
The woman has expressed her gratitude and thanksgiving to the police authorities for helping them especially during the Christmas Day.
