Gerald Anderson talked about his current relationship status
Kapamilya actor Gerald Anderson revealed that the reason he is single right now is something that involved him.
Gerald’s last known relationship was with actress Julia Barretto. However, following the breakup speculations about them last year, it was confirmed by their respective management that they ended their relationship.
The former couple did not reveal the reason for their separation. However, in past interviews, the actor has admitted that he had shortcomings. There were speculations about their reconciliation, but it did not happen.
In a recent interview, Gerald Anderson was asked what the most painful thing an ex-girlfriend had told him. The actor said it was. ” You took me for granted.” Netizens speculated that he was referring to Julia, but, for some netizens, he did the same to all his ex-girlfriends.
In the same interview, Gerald’s fellow Kapamilya actor Baron Geisler asked him who among his ex-girlfriends he loved the most. Gerald refused to answer this and just laughed, saying that Baron should just ask the questions from the cue card and not his personal question.
Then, Baron asked Gerald if he plans to focus on himself since he is single right now. The latter said that this is the reason why he chose to be single.
“That’s the reason why I’m single now, because I want to become a better partner, a better person, a better son, a better brother, a better provider,” he said, adding that he can do all of these if he is focused on himself for now.
Gerald also said that he has been doing a lot of things lately, because he is building the life he wanted to have. “I wanna be that kind of person, di ba?” he said. He will also be the best version of himself when the time comes.
