This is the reason why Beatrice Luigi Gomez was not active on social media during the pageant.

BEATRICE LUIGI GOMEZ – Miss Universe Philippines 2021 Beatrice Luigi Gomez reveals why during the pageant, she is not active online.

The Miss Universe 2021 pageant has just been concluded and Harnaaz Sandhu of India is the newly crowned queen. Beatrice Luigi Gomez, the Philippines’ bet, was a Top 5 finisher of the competition. This is the first time again that our delegate reached the said spot of the pageant after two years.

The other winners are:

  • 1st runner up: Miss Universe Paraguay Nadia Ferreira
  • 2nd runner up: Miss Universe South Africa Lalela Lali Mswane
  • Spirit of Carnival Award: Chantel O’Brian of Bahamas
  • Impact Wave Award: Antonia Figueroa of Chile
  • Best in National Costume: Maristella Okpala of Nigeria

And one of the many things people have noticed is that our delegate, Beatrice, was not active on social media during the competition. She rarely posted her photos and she would only share a handful of information in her Instagram story. Why is that so?

She explained that even before, she’s really not into posting and sharing her whereabouts on social media. She added, “As much as I want to do posts, yung schedule namin dito is very hectic. Sometimes, yung Internet connection pa is very difficult. I try to post naman when I can.”

Another reason is she is also trying to avoid the negative comments people might throw against her. She also tried to peek through to some comments right after the preliminaries and she is thankful that there were comments from people who advised her how to do certain things better for the coronation night. The comments have accordingly helped her do better during the finals as per a report from PEP.

Bea has finally returned to the country and she was welcomed by the Philippine Navy at the airport for being a reservist.
