A young artist earns praises and admiration online after creating an impressive artwork to Andres Bonifacio.
Andrés Bonifacio y de Castro is a Filipino hero and revolutionary leader, and the First President of the Philippines. He has been hailed as “The Father of the Philippine Revolution”, and considered one of the national heroes of the Philippines.
A Facebook user named Joneil Calagos Severino has shared the photos of a leaf artwork containing the makeshift image of the Philippine hero. The post garnered various reactions from the online community.
On Tuesday (November 30, 2021), Severino created a leaf artwork with an image of Andres Bonifacio to honor him during “Bonifacio Day”. He created the image in a giant leaf, which proves his amazing skills as an artist.
According to Joneil, he admire Andres Bonifacio for its principle and perseverance to fight for what is right. He praised the hero’s sacrifices, courage, wisdom, ability, hard work, resilience and love for his family.
He also quoted a line from Bonifacio encouraging the Filipino people to love the country next to God.
