Andres Bonifacio y de Castro was born in November 30, 1863. Thus, the day we celebrate the event of the hero known as “Bonifacio Day”

He was the Supreme Leader or Supremo of the movement “Kataas-taasang, Kagalanggalangang Katipunan ng mga Anak ng Bayan” (KKK) or “Katipunan” for short. He was also known as the “Father of Philippine Revolution”.

How and Where did he die?

According to Wiki, Bonifacio, along with his brother were sentenced to death as ordered by Aguinaldo due to allegations around them, which lacked proof that they did those allegations.

Aguinaldo was initially persuaded by Pio del Pilar and Mariano Noriel not to continue the execution but was later secondhanded by Mamerto Natividád and ather members of Aguinaldo.

Both Andres and Procopio was executed at the hands of his men led by Lazaro Makapagal in the mountains of the now municipality of Maragondon. Procopio was shot to death while Andres, as testified by one of his men, was stabbed by a bolo.

This demoralized men in Manila, Laguna and Batangas. Emilio Jacinto and Macario Sakay eventually continued without recognizing the authority of Aguinaldo.
