Kris Aquino Thankful over Mel Sarmiento being “the better man”
KRIS AQUINO – The actress-TV host called her fiancé, Mel Sarmiento, “the better man” in a heart-melting post on social media.
The fans and supporters of Queen of All Media Kris Aquino are very happy that she has found a new love in the person of Mel Sarmiento, former Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) Secretary. He was the last and final Interior Secretary during the term of the late former President Noynoy Aquino.
According to Mel, there were instances in the past when he was with both former Pres. Aquino and Kris. He admitted that he was “starstruck” with the actress and he quite cannot move well whenever he’s with the two like during mealtimes. According to the actress, during those times, the then DILG Secretary was quite distant from her.
Meanwhile, Kris Aquino and former DILG Sec. Mel Sarmiento reconnected and none had stopped the blossoming relationship between them. It even got the approval of the actress’ youngest son, Bimby.
It is no secret to the public that Kris had her share of heartbreaks before. She was married to professional basketball player James Yap but they separated and their marriage was annulled. She also had controversial relationships with some known actors in the showbiz industry.
Meanwhile, based on a heart-melting post of Kris Aquino for Mel Sarmiento, the actress is thankful that he has never blamed her and he loves her for who she is. She expressed her gratitude to God and her late brother for reconnecting her with “the better man” – which is a significant part of Taylor Swift’s song.
