Former President Noynoy Aquino Lands in Hospital
Former President Benigno ‘Noynoy’ Aquino III has been hospitalized and currently admitted at the hospital’s Intensive Care Unit.
On Monday (December 9, 2019), ex-President Noynoy Aquino was admitted to the Makati Medical Center for unidentified reasons. Aquino’s hospitalization garnered various speculations from the public.
Some citizens are speculating that the former nation leader would undergo a heart procedure. They also concluded that Aquino is in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) because of his medical condition.
However, Aquino’s former spokesperson Abigail Valte clarified that the ex-president visited the hospital for a scheduled check-up and a routine procedure. He also explained that Noynoy was confined at the ICU to limit the number of his visitors.
Valte also responds to the speculation with a joke saying that the 59-year-old politician might go through a heart procedure because he is “broken-hearted”.
One of Aquino’s close relatives revealed that Noynoy’s feet were swollen at that time. The Queen of All Media Kris Aquino also exposed that her brother is not OK.
“These past three years had been tough on him, please include him in your prayers because he needs strength,” the celebrity said.
