PAGASA Says Amihan and Shear Line to Affect PH Weather Condition
The state weather bureau PAGASA reported that the shear line and northeast monsoon would bring cloudy skies and light rains over parts of the country.
On Friday (November 12, 2021), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration released the latest weather update in the country. The northeast monsoon and the Tail-end of the Frontal System would affect the country’s weather condition.
PAGASA reported that the Tail-end of Frontal System would bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms Bicol Region, Northern Samar, Oriental Mindoro, Marinduque and Romblon.
The localized thunderstorms would bring similar weather condition over the region of Mindanao. The northeast monsoon/shear line would bring cloudy condition with light rains over the provinces of Batanes and Cagayan.
Isabela, Quirino, Nueva Vizcaya, Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, La Union, Pangasinan, Benguet, Ifugao, Abra, Mountain Province, Apayao, Kalinga, and Aurora would have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains due to the northeast monsoon.
Metro Manila and the remaining parts of the country would experience the same weather condition with possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms due to the effects of localized thunderstorms.

The coastal water conditions over Northern Luzon would be moderate to rough. The rest of the country would have slight to moderate surrounding conditions, according to the weather bureau.
