PAGASA Says LPA to Affect Palawan, Rest of PH to Experience Fair Weather

PAGASA Releases Latest Weather Update for Saturday (November 6)

The state weather bureau PAGASA reported that the low-pressure area would affect Palawan while the rest of the country would have a fair weather condition.

On Saturday (November 6, 2021), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration released the latest weather update in the country. The low-pressure area would affect the country’s weather condition.

PAGASA reported that the low-pressure area has been last spotted at 125 kilometers west of Puerto Princesa City, Palawan. It would bring cloudy condition with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms over Palawan including Kalayaan Islands.

The northeast monsoon would bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains over the provinces of Batanes, Cagayan, Isabela, Quirino, Nueva Vizcaya, Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, La Union, Pangasinan, Benguet, Ifugao, Abra, Mountain Province, Apayao, Kalinga and Aurora.

The localized thunderstorms would also bring partly cloudy to cloudy condition with isolated rainshowers and thunderstorms over Metro Manila, Central Luzon, CALABARZON, Bicol Region, Visayas, Occidental Mindoro, Mindanao and the rest of MIMAROPA.

“Ito ay inaasahang patuloy na kikilos pakanluran habang binabaybay ang West Philippine Sea. Nananatiling mababa ang tsansa nito na maging bagyo, ngunit asahan natin na magdudulot pa rin ito ng kalat-kalat na pag-ulan dito sa Palawan, lalong lalo na sa bahagi ng Kalayaan Islands,” Pagasa weather specialist Grace Castañeda said.

The weather agency has also warned the public to take precautionary measures for possible flash floods and landslides during moderate to at times heavy rains.

The coastal water condition over Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao would be slight to moderate, according to the weather bureau.
