Ariel Rivera Leaves TV5’s “Lunch Out Loud”, Here’s Reason

This is the reason why Ariel Rivera is no longer reporting to “Lunch Out Loud”.

ARIEL RIVERA – OPM icon Ariel Rivera decided to leave the TV5 noontime show “Lunch Out Loud” allegedly because of cost-cutting reasons.

Lunch Out Loud” is the Kapatid network‘s noontime show. It premiered on October 19, 2020, which featured former ABS-CBN talents and social media influencers like Billy Crawford, Alex Gonzaga, Bayani Agbayani, K Brosas, KC Montero, Wacky Kiray, Jeff Tam, Laboching, and Mark Averilla (aka Macoy Dubs). Singer Ariel Rivera is also a part of the show as Boss-Sing or the judge in “Kantrabaho”.

LOL just celebrated its first anniversary but it seems like that first is the first and last at the same time for the male OPM singer. Accordingly, he did not report last November 8 and this is after cost-cutting has been implemented. Cost-cutting is happening in many programs because of the pandemic. The COVID-19 situation has severed a lot of businesses including production shoots in the local showbiz industry.

Based on a report from PEP, Rivera started not to report on LOL because he got affected by it. He was advised to report on alternate days and it seems like it did not suit him well. Reportedly, he did not accept it and rather chose to leave the show.

Before his sudden decision to leave, Rivera once expressed in an interview that he is not used to doing a daily show but with LOL, he fell in love with it along with the cast the reason why he stayed. And through LOL, people were able to see the other side of the OPM icon.
