Here’s what Bayani Agbayani said about the rival show of ‘Lunch Out Loud’
Comedian Bayani Agbayani is one of the hosts of TV5’s noontime show Lunch Out Loud and he was asked about their rival shows, GMA’s Eat Bulaga and ABS-CBN’s It’s Showtime.
Bayani has been in the industry for many years now and he is known as one of the popular comedians in the Philippine entertainment industry. In a recent vlog of actress Aiko Melendez, he was asked about the rival shows of LOL.
Aiko asked Bayani if he feels nervous being on the same timeslot with shows that have been airing for many years now. “Nagpaalam ka ba kina Bossing bago mo tinanggap ‘yan?” the actress asked the comedian referring to Vic Sotto, one of the main hosts of the Kapuso show.
Eat Bulaga has been airing for more than 40 years now while It’s Showtime has started more than 10 years ago. For Bayani Agbayani, it is something to be thankful to have a job amid the pandemic. He also stressed that he is friends with both groups of hosts from GMA and ABS-CBN.
“Hindi ako nagbo-burn ng bridges,” the LOL host said. When asked how big is the pressure for being one of the hosts of the Kapatid noontime show, he said that what is good in their show is that they are “pantay-pantay”. “Lahat pwedeng sabuyan ng pulbos sa mukha pwedeng ganunan ng icing,” he added.
Bayani Agbayani also shared that he is also one of the writers in LOL. He is not just a host but also a contributor just like what he did in past noontime shows he worked with.
