The extortionist cop was posted to QC Police Department Station 14 according to the complaint. Yagi was apprehended in this location after an entrapment operation was carried out against the extortionist police.

This comes after a vendor claimed he sought P2,000 from his fruit stand to keep it from being disassembled, based on the report of the Philippine News Agency (PNA). Yagi allegedly threatened the fruit salesman with the service weapon he was carrying, in addition to extortion.

Yagi was discovered in possession of the entrapment’s marked cash. A 9mm pistol, two magazines, a PNP identification card, and P1,625 cash were also recovered by the authorities.
