Amid Wrath of Typhoon Tino, Portions of Crocolandia Wildlife Park’s Perimeter Walls Collapsed
Crocolandia, a small wildlife park in Cebu, had parts of its perimeter walls collapsed due to Typhoon Tino and it sparked concerns of possible animal escape.
Severe tropical storm Tino brought massive rains and strong winds in Cebu before it crossed the province of Negros Occidental. It caused severe flooding in Cebu that reached the first floor of several two-storey residential properties and only left the roof of several single-story homes.

Typhoon Tino greatly battered Cebu leaving at least 26 people dead with its catastrophic flooding. Several homes were left totally destroyed by the strong winds that brought them to the ground and in pieces.
Amid the wrath of Typhoon Tino in Cebu, the floodwater broke portions of the perimeter walls of Crocolandia, a small wildlife park, to collapse as per a post of SunStar Bacolod. It triggered fears of possible animal escape.

Crocolandia is a home to several crocodiles and other potentially dangerous wildlife. Amid the flooding, severeal residents have expressed growing concern as floodwaters continue to rose posing threats in case any animal from the wildpark has escaped.
Authorities and responders immediately assessed the extent of the damage and coordinated with immediate acions to secure the animals and protect the community as per the post.
Amid the growing concerns about the crocodiles and other wildlife creatures of Crocolandia, a snake sighting triggered the concerns. Some residents believed that the large snake they saw supposedly came from the zoo.

Meanwhile, as of the latest update, there is currently no confirmed escape of a crocodile or any dangerous wildlife from Crocolandia. Based on a post of Iloilo Goldern Heart Volunteers-Western Visayas, the “emergency crews and local officials in Talisay City Cebu moved to secure the animals at Crocolandia”.
