GMA executives and Kapuso personalities including Mang Tani gave Kuya Kim Atienza a warm welcome as he is now a certified Kapuso.
KUYA KIM ATIENZA – Kapamilya weatherman Kuya Kim Atienza is now a certified Kapuso and here are some warm messages to welcome him.
“Meant” and “surreal”. This is how Kuya Kim Atienza described his transfer to GMA after being in service with the Kapamilya network. It was his first time to step foot on the grounds of the Kapuso network and being an official part of the network at that matter.

In a heartbreaking farewell message as he made his final appearance in the network that sheltered him for 17 years, he thanked all the people who became a part of his life. He is grateful to those who contributed to making him the “Kuya Kim” that he is now.
Through GMA-7’s 24 Oras, he was given an official welcome and one of those who appeared in the presentation is Nathaniel “Mang Tani” Cruz, the official meteorologist and weather reporter of GMA. He is currently in Australia. He recalled the moment he worked with him for the first time and added, “Pero ngayon, heto, magkakasama na tayong dalawa. Siyempre, definitely, you will enjoy Kapuso Network.”
Also, several GMA execs welcomed him like Annette Gozon-Valdes (President, GMA Films), Felipe Yalong (EVP and Chief Financial Officer), Joel Jimenez (Vice Chairman, Executive Committee), Marissa Flores (SVP, News & Public Affairs), and Lilybeth Rasonable (SVP For Entertainment Group).
Atty. Felipe Gozon also expressed as he welcomed him to the network, “We are very happy that you are joining us a Kapuso. Ikinatutuwa namin na makakasama ka namin sa paghahatid ng serbisyong totoo sa lahat ng Kapuso sa loob at labas ng bansa.”
