It’s not unusual anymore to see famous celebrities in public service and for the next election, Claudine will be one of those, who will try their best to show the people that they are worth a chance to become public servants.

Many celebrities, both local and national schemes, turned politicians. And for the upcoming 2022 elections, few celebrities have already made a stance seeking for an elected post like actress Aiko Melendez, and actors Arjo AtaydeNash Aguas, and Jolo Revilla. And Barretto will be under the team of talent manager Arnold Vegafria who will be running for the mayoral bid.

The Optimum Star is known for being Ilongga and she can also speak the dialect. It is her mother who is an Ilongga but why did she choose Olongapo? Reaching out to Vegafria, Pep shared that Claudine’s grandfather was a former governor of Olongapo and her late father is formerly the director of Subic Bay Management Authority (SBMA).

Also, during this whole pandemic, she stayed there most of the time and got her residency there. Vegafria shared according to the report, “Taga-Olongapo si Claudine. Lolo niya, dating Governor. Dad niya, former SBMA director. Her mom is Ilongga. Right now, the whole pandemic nasa SBMA siya.”

Claudine is one of the finest actresses in the industry. She’s a screen veteran who started her career in 1992. She has led several iconic series with ABS-CBN in the ‘90s and early 2000s and movies.
