PAGASA: Typhoon’s Trough to Bring Partly Cloudy to Rainy Conditions Over Parts of PH

PAGASA Releases Latest Weather Update for Monday (September 27)

The state weather bureau PAGASA reported that the typhoon’s trough to bring partly cloudy to rainy conditions over some parts of the country.

On Monday (September 27, 2021), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration released the latest weather update in the country. The trough of the typhoon outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility would affect the country’s weather condition.

PAGASA reported that the localized thunderstorms would bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers over the provinces of Batanes, Cagayan, Isabela, Quirino, Nueva Vizcaya, Mountain Province, Ifugao, Benguet, Apayao, Abra, Kalinga, Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, La Union, Pangasinan and Aurora.

Bicol Region, Northern Samar, Oriental Mindoro, Marinduque and Romblon would experience similar weather condition.

Typhoon Mindulle’s trough would affect the weather condition over eastern sections of Southern Luzon and Visayas. The weather system would bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers over entire Visayas, Palawan including Kalayaan Islands and Occidental Mindoro.

The National Capital Region and the remaining parts of the country would have the same weather condition. Possible flash floods or landlsides are expected during severe thunderstorms.

Typhoon Mindulle has been last spotted at 1,600 km east of Extreme Northern Luzon outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility. It has maximum sustained winds of 185 kilometers per hour and gustiness of up to 230 kph and moving 10 kph at a north northwestward direction.

The typhoon is expected to enter the country’s vicinity and will be renamed Lannie after breaking into PAR on Tuesday (September 28).

Meanwhile, the coastal water conditions over the entire archipelago would be slight to moderate, according to the weather bureau.
