PAGASA Releases Latest Weather Update for Saturday (September 25)

The state weather bureau PAGASA reported that the low-pressure area would bring cloudy to rainys weather condition over some parts of the country.

On Saturday (September 25, 2021), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration released the latest weather update in the country. The Low Pressure Area (LPA) would affect the country’s weather condition.

PAGASA reported that the low-pressure area has been last spotted at 230 kilometers east of Davao City. It would bring an inclement weather condition over the region of Mindanao.

The localized thunderstorms would bring partly cloudy to cloudy condition with isolated rainshowers over the provinces of Batanes, Cagayan, Isabela, Quirino, Nueva Vizcaya, Mountain Province, Ifugao, Benguet, Apayao, Abra, Kalinga, Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, La Union, Pangasinan and Aurora.

Bicol Region, Northern Samar, Oriental Mindoro, Marinduque and Romblon would also experience similar weather condition due to the effects the low-pressure area. The entire Visayas, Occidental Mindoro, and Palawan including Kalayaan Islands would have the same weather.

Metro Manila and the remaining parts of the country are expected to experience the same but possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms are expected due to the localized thunderstorms.

Meanwhile, the coastal water conditions over Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao would be slight to moderate due to the light to moderate moving in the northwest to northeastward and southwest direction, according to the weather bureau.
