PAGASA Says Fair Weather Expected Across PH Except For Some Chances of Rain

PAGASA Releases Latest Weather Update for Friday (September 24)

The state weather bureau PAGASA reported that the Philippines would have a fair weather except for some chances of rains due to the easterlies.

On Friday (September 24, 2021), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration released the latest weather update in the country. The easterlies would affect the country’s weather condition.

PAGASA reported that the easterlies would be the dominant weather system nationwide, which is expected to bring chances of rain showers. The isolated thunderstorms would also affect several parts of the country particularly in Visayas and Mindanao.

The easterlies would bring partly cloudy to cloudy condition with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms over Bicol Region, Northern Samar, Oriental Mindoro, Marinduque and Romblon.

The localized thunderstorms/easterlies would also bring similar weather condition over the entire Visayas, Occidental Mindoro and Palawan including Kalayaan Islands. The weather condition over Luzon would be fair.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country would have the same weather condition but possible flash floods or landslides are expected during severe thunderstorms.

“Sa araw na ito, magandang panahon ang mararanasan natin sa Luzon, Sa Visayas and Mindanao magandang panahon din ang mararanasan natin, maliban lang po sa mga isolated rain showers dahil sa thunderstorm,” weather specialist Aldczar Aurelio said.

Meanwhile, the coastal water condition over Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao would be slight to moderate due to the light to moderate moving in the east to northeast and northwest direction.
