Delivery Rider Passes Away After Being Run Over by Truck
A poor delivery rider has passed away due to serious injuries he suffered after being run over by a truck on Roxas Boulevard going to Baclaran.
Over the past few decades, road accident becomes one of the most common traffic problems not only in the Philippines but also in different countries all around the world. It usually causes injuries and even death to victims.
The Philippine government and the authorities were already implementing stricter traffic rules and regulations to prevent such incident. However, it could not be avoided all the time since there are still some reckless drivers along the road.
Vehicle driver and motorcycle riders were advised to take precautionary measure when driving along the road to prevent similar incident.
On Thursday evening (September 16, 2021), a food delivery rider suffered serious injuries after a huge truck accidentally rammed his motorcycle. The delivery employee passed away due to his injuries.
The accident happened around 8:00 pm while the rider is travelling along southbound on Roxas Boulevard while heading to Buendia Flyover in Pasay City. The rider died on the spot after the incident.

The police authorities are suspecting the Grab rider passed through the side of the road, where trucks usually pass. The cops sealed the portion of Roxas Boulevard wwhere the incident happened while the investigation is ongoing.
The victim’s name has been withheld in the report for its privacy.
