GRETCHEN BARRETTO – Former actress Gretchen Barretto reacts to “baon sa utang” rumors about her sister lingering online.
Barretto sisters Claudine and Gretchen have fixed their relationship as siblings which made many people happy. To recall, they have not been talking to each other for many years and such good news is inspiring to many. Blood is indeed thicker than water and they reconciled in early 2019. However, things are still not well when it comes to their relationship with their other sister Marjorie Barretto.
The situation worsened during their father’s wake, where a commotion has transpired in front of their dead father. Greta has reconciled with her mother as well. Greta and Claudine are closer to each other now. They are vocal about their love for each other and she is actually helping her younger sister when it comes to her kids.
And now, with the rumors about her being “baon sa utang” still making rounds online, she retaliated. It has been a rumor before that Claudine borrowed money from Jinkee Pacquiao, however, both ladies refuted this. Jinkee said that this is not true based on a previous article. She expressed in a public post, “Mare ipaalam ko lang sa kanila na wala kang utang sa akin. At wala din tayong business. Masaya ako na friends tayo at kumara kita. I love u mare!”
Just recently, with her elder sister beside her, Claudine lambasted the “hindi mamatay-matay na issue” about her. Accordingly, it bothers her because it dragged innocent people like Jinkee. She once again clarified that this is not true. She added that she may not be rich but she is not also the type of person who is “waldas sa pera”.
Claudine expressed that she doesn’t owe anyone money, but for the Pacquiao couple, she has “utang na loob” to them because they care for her children. Gretchen has then reacted to it because to her, it appears like her sister was being bullied.
Greta stated, “Bakit ka ba inaapi, ha? Tinawagan ka pa niya kagabi, di ba? What time was that? Nasa cellphone mo, 2 something ng umaga tapos yung boses ng ex-mayor nandon din di ba?”
The eldest of the Barretto said that they will speak one day because there are things that needed clarification. But for now, they will remain silent. They want peace. They are matters that are needed to be taken care of legally but will remain mum for the sake of fairness. She jested as per PUSH, “I feel like Claudine wants to clear her name and get justice.”
