Claudine Barretto is not giving up in the legal battle against Raymart Santiago
Optimum Star Claudine Barretto reportedly filed motion for reconsideration in her case against her estranged husband actor Raymart Santiago.
To recall, late last year, Claudine filed economic abuse case against Raymart, as the latter is being accused of not supporting their children financially. The former couple has two children, Sabina and Santino.
In January this year, it was reported that Claudine and Raymart were set to meet in court in February. This was what Atty. Ferdinand Topacio, the legal counsel of the Optimum Star, shared.
However, another report surfaced this May saying that the case that Claudine Barretto filed against Raymart Santiago was dismissed. The actress has not spoken about this in public and the camp of the actor was also silent about this.
A recent article by Salve Asis in Pilipino Star Ngayon stated that Claudine filed a Motion for Reconsideration. The columnist added that there is a rumor saying that the actress is blaming her lawyer for what happened. It was said that Atty. Topacio accepted this case as pro bono.
The lawyer is also the producer of the supposed comeback movie project of Claudine but it was reported that it will no longer push through. It was also said that the source of Take It… Per Minute, Me Ganun!, the digital talk show of Cristy Fermin, Lolit Solis, and Mr. Fu, said that the actress also got her advance payment for this project.
Meanwhile, reportedly, Claudine Barretto will have her TV comeback via a teleserye on TV5 but it will be produced by ABS-CBN.
