What did Paolo Contis feel after speaking about the issue with his ex-partner?
Kapuso actor Paolo Contis has broken his silence on the issue surrounding his breakup with actress LJ Reyes and this is what he felt after doing this.
For the past weeks, the name of Paolo and LJ are trending topics on social media. From rumored separation, LJ confirmed their split in an interview on King of Talk Boy Abunda’s YouTube channel.
Along with this controversial celebrity breakup, the name of Yen Santos, Paolo’s leading lady in his new movie A Faraway Land, was dragged as she is allegedly the third party. Rumors linking the co-stars even intensified when photos and videos of them together in Baguio surfaced online.
On September 8, Paolo Contis decided to speak about the issue through his Instagram posts. He admitted the mistakes that he did to LJ Reyes and to their relationship, as well as with the actress’s son Aki and their daughter Summer.
However, this decision of Paolo to speak received negative reactions from netizens, especially from those who believe that he and Yen have a romantic relationship beyond the “friendship” that he mentioned in his post.
In line with this apology post of the Kapuso actor, his manager Lolit Solis who has been defending him amid the breakup issue said that she hopes people who are affected will accept the “sorry” of his “alaga”.
After Paolo Contis broke his silence, comedian-talent manager Ogie Diaz asked him what he felt after deciding to speak. “I felt relieved kasi alam kong may kasalanan ako at sinabi ko yung kasalanan ko. Tao lang naman ako Mama Og na nagkakamali ako sinadya man ito o hindi nagkamali ako,” the actor said as related by the comedian-talent manager on his Showbiz Update vlog.
Ogie said that it is difficult for men to accept his mistakes when it comes this kind of issue, especially if he is also protecting something. He added that Paolo is not minding if his career will have its downfall after speaking about his breakup with LJ.
