Piolo Pascual will be busy for the coming six months because of these projects
A-list actor Piolo Pascual shared the upcoming projects that he will be doing in front and behind the camera.
Aside from being an actor, Piolo is also one of the owners of an independent movie production firm, Spring Films. Talking to Inquirer Entertainment, the A-list actor said that their production team is currently in Paris for the shooting of the movie of Alessandra de Rossi and Empoy Marquez.
Piolo is set to go there as well to oversee the production. The other half of their production team will remain in the Philippines for the ‘Niña Niño’ teleserye of Maja Salvador airing on TV5.
Piolo Pascual has not rested in doing acting stints. He shared that he just finished filming for his guest appearance in a TV series. The A-list actor has already finished filming two movies and just waiting for them to be released.
Another TV project that Piolo is set to do is a soap opera. With these busy months ahead of him, he had to postpone his travel to the U.S. “I was supposed to go on tour in the United States, but producers and I decided to wait it out because we want to be on the safe side. These days, I’ve been watching a lot. I want to be immersed in different film genres,” he shared.
The recent movie that he did was My Amanda with Alessandra. Piolo shared that Netflix has acquired the rights even before the pandemic. “We had ample time to know about our product and to know how to present it to a bigger market. The requirements imposed by Netflix on us were overwhelming.
With the demands like this, Piolo said that production companies are also raising their standards as their products will not only be shown in the Philippines but in the international market as well.
The A-list actor also said that most people in the entertainment industry have coped up with the current situation as everyone wants to survive and provide something on the table.
