Kim Chiu Speaks On Rumors About Her To Be Removed In Showtime

Will Kim Chiu leave the Kapamilya noontime show soon?

KIM CHIU – Kapamilya actress and host, Kim Chiu, finally breaks her silence on the rumors about her exiting the noontime show “Its Showtime”.

Currently one of the hosts of the Kapamilya show Its Showtime is actress Kim Chiu. Her bubbly and loud personality blended well with the energy of the others hosts and the show. However, netizens noticed something as to how she was treated in a couple of previous episodes.

To recall, the ABS-CBN network has failed in its bid to have a franchise renewal in 2020 under President Duterte’s administration. The president has always been vocal about taking down the network following the conflict that surfaced regarding his political ads during the previous elections.

And in a previous article, the netizens noticed that in one episode, the actress was not given her own microphone and she has not spoken in the whole duration of it. She was just on the side which people are not used to because usually, she would co-host Vice Ganda in a segment but it did not happen at that moment. She was not given exposure.

But in the most recent episode, Kim smoothly dived into that topic when Vice asked her what’s the latest “fake news” she heard about her. According to her, the latest one is her removal from the noontime show. She quipped, “Tatanggalin daw ako dito. Araw-araw kasi iyon, e. Ang sakit din sa ulo.”

In a reply, Vice reacted to this and agreed. He also called out the fake news perpetrators because many people become gullible on social media. He added to what Kim has said, “Ang dami namang naniniwala, inaaway naman iyong Showtime! Diyos ko, ito namang mga taong ‘to, oh. Nakakaloka!”
