PNP Chief Orders to Investigate Cops Flexing Dangerous Motorcycle Stunts in Viral Video

PNP chief Police Gen. Guillermo Eleazar has ordered an investigation into the policemen flexing dangerous motorcycle stunts.

Earlier this week, the video footage of two traffic personnel driving recklessly along the road goes viral and garnered massive amount of criticisms from the online community. They were showing dangerous stunts, which could lead to accidents.

The video shows two policemen doing dangerous stunts along the highway without minding other vehicles. One of the cops also counter flowed on the opposite lane while the other one is letting go of the handle bar.

The two enforcers seem to be flexing various tricks on their motorcycles and teasing other motorists along the road, which is considered as an irresponsible act that could lead to further troubles.

On Wednesday (September 1, 2021), the chief of the Philippine National Police Guillermo Eleazar has ordered the cops to locate and identify the two viral police officers. He is considering that two as traffic violators.

“After watching this viral video, I immediately assigned Police Brig. Gen. Val de Leon, [Regional Director of Police Regional Office 3] as well as the Director of the Highway Patrol Group to identify, investigate and impose appropriate punishment on these sweet potato riders,” Eleazar said.

Eleazar said that if the violators are indeed police officers they would face corresponding sanctions and penalties. He also warned the police motorcycle riders not to imitate the action of the two viral cops.

HPG head Police Brig. Gen. Alexander Tagum claimed that the two were not their employees, according to the result of their investigation.
