Yordenis Ugas ‘100% Certain’ Manny Pacquiao Can’t Knock Him Out

Yordenis Ugas Says He Can’t Be KOd By Manny Pacquiao

YORDENIS UGAS – Cuban boxer Yordenis Ugas said he can’t be KOd by Pinoy boxer Manny Pacquiao in their welterweight title fight.

Legendary boxer Manny Pacquiao was supposed to fight WBC and IBF champion Errol Spence Jr. on Saturday (Sunday Manila time) at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas for Spence’s welterweight title but he withdraws from his fight with the Pinoy boxer due to an eye injury. The 35-year-old Cuban boxer Yordenis Ugas replaced the American boxer.

The ex-Olympian said he’s honored to fight Pacquiao and he’s “more than ready to take on this challenge.” The younger boxer has three inches height advantage and 2 inches reach advantage on Pacman but his trainer Buboy Fernadez believes that the fighting senator will end the fight via knockout.

Buboy Fernandez said Manny Pacquiao is a lot faster and stronger than Yordenis Ugas. He said Pacman’s new opponent loves to engage and stand toe-to-toe so it’s easier for Pacquiao to throw punches.

Not unless hindi kaya dalhin ni Ugas yung lakas ng ating Pambansang Kamao… miss na miss na natin yung hindi tumatakbo ang kalaban… Kaya tumbahan ito. Sigurado yan,” he said.

Meanwhile, Pacquiao, in a dark gray suit, made no mention about KOs but he said he’s happy to be fighting once again. He even said he felt “young.”

Based on a report from Inquirer, Yordenis Ugas said he won’t go down against Pacman despite coming into the fight in less than 2 weeks’ notice. He said he’s 100% certain that the Pinoy boxer can’t knock him out.

“I’m 100 percent certain he can’t knock me out…”

“I’ve done all the work and preparation. Over these past six years, I’ve really been hitting my stride and I don’t think Manny can knock me out,” he added.
