Here’s Reason Why Manny Pacquiao VS Errol Spence Jr. Fight Cancelled
ERROL SPENCE JR – Event promoter Premier Boxing Champions recently confirmed that Errol Spence has pulled out of his upcoming fight against Manny Pacquiao.
On July 4, legendary Filipino boxer Manny Pacquiao went to Los Angeles, California to train for his bout against American boxer Errol Spence Jr. He gives glimpses of his training on his social media accounts.
In between preparation for his upcoming bout, he has been meeting famous vloggers like Logan Paul and Supercar Blondie and NBA stars Jordan Clarkson and Klay Thompson. They all got the chance to watch him prepare for his fight. Pacman last fought in July 2019.
Actress BB Gandanghari, formerly known as Rustom Padilla, has also visited Manny Pacquiao at the Wild Card Gym. She posted her photos with the boxer and shared she had a meal with him. However, their snaps were criticized by some members of the LGBTQ community.
It seems that some of them have not forgotten Pacquiao’s homophobic remark. In 2016, the boxer sparked outrage when he said that “gay people are worse than animals.”

Based on a report from Bad Left Hook, Premier Boxing Champions have confirmed that Errol Spence Jr has withdrawn from his fight against Manny Pacquiao due to an eye injury. The event promoter said that his torn retina was found to Errol Monday at their routine medical examinations.
“I’m very disappointed that I won’t be able to fight Manny Pacquiao on August 21…”
“I was excited about the fight and the event. Unfortunately, the doctors found a tear in my left eye and said I needed to get surgery on it ASAP and that there was no way I could fight with my eye in that condition. I’d like to apologize to everyone. You know I’ll be back as soon back soon. We’ve come back from worse,” he added.
Manny Pacquiao wished Errol Spence Jr. a speedy recovery after the cancellation of their fight. He said, “I pray for the speedy and complete recovery of Errol Spence Jr.”
“Thank goodness his physical exams uncovered that eye condition before it suffered further damage,” he added.
