Buboy seek the help of Ed De La Vega by stating that “Please help me tell the gentleman involved in the incident that I am deeply sorry for what happened,” Fernandez stated. “I did not mean any harm. My reaction was just a result of the heat of the moment,” Buboy added.

Buboy Fernandez intentionally stayed behind in Los Angeles and did not accompany Pacquiao on his journey back home because he was bothered by the incident.

According to Buboy, he wanted to reach out to the guy which was identified as Al Bello of Getty Images, for an apology. Buboy wanted to talk to the person and wanted De La Vega to write an article for him and help him in reaching out the Getty photographer.

Buboy also stated that if needed to write a formal letter, he will do so but seek the help of the columnist for he admitted that he is not proficient in English.
