PAGASA Says Southwest Monsoon to Bring Cloudy to Rainy Conditions Over Parts of PH
The state weather bureau PAGASA monitors LPA outside PAR while the southwest monsoon would continue to bring rainy conditions over some parts of the country.
On Thursday (July 29, 2021), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration released the latest weather update in the country. The southwest monsoon would continue to affect the country’s weather condition.
The southwest monsoon would bring monsoon rains over Ilocos Region, Benguet, Zambales, Bataan, Tarlac, Pampanga, and Occidental Mindoro. Occasional Rains are expected over Bicol Region, Oriental Mindoro, Marinduque and Romblon.
Metro Manila, the rest of Luzon, and Western Visayas are expected to experience occasional rains. Partly cloudy to cloudy condition with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms are expected over Northern Samar as well as the rest of the country.
Central and Eastern Visayas and Mindanao would have a fair weather condition.
The weather agency is also monitoring active tropical cyclones outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) including Tropical Depression Fabian, which is located at 1,600 kilometers north northwest of extreme northern Luzon.
Meanwhile, the coastal water conditions over Luzon and Visayas will be moderate to rough. Mindanao is expected to experience slight to moderate surrounding sea conditions.
